On Friday, March 25th, World of Wonder hosted their Stargazing event. Though some clouds rolled in, participants were able to see a fair bit of the night sky, including the Pleiades, Sirius, Polaris, the Orion Nebula and more. Many, many thanks are due to Dr. Mario Belloni and his students of the Davidson College’s Society of Physics and to Robert Carl and the members of the Charlotte Area Astronomy Club. It proved to be a beautiful, “starry” evening, and WOW hopes to host another Stargazing event in the fall.
